Our canopy roof provides protection from the sun and rain – as long as they are coming straight down. Often it is wind and rain that comes on an angle. Our side curtains can provide the finishing touch – extending the ability to use your outdoor area regardless of the conditions.
Ultimate Flexibility & Protection
Unlike glass windows and doors, retractable curtains do not have to be there all the time. During hot summer periods some or all of the curtains can be rolled up. However if the weather changes and protection is needed then they can be rolled down quickly – providing a sheltered and usable area.
As with our roof canopy, side curtains have many alternatives – depending on your requirements.
Zipped Curtains
Zipped curtains have a pair of marine grade zips located on the sides of the curtain. Simply pull the zips up and the curtain can be manually rolled from the bottom. Zipped curtains are good for widths up to 2.5 metres.
The top and sides of the curtain are held in an aluminium channel – even when the curtains is rolled up.
Retaining straps are located at the top and at intermediate points.
Roller Curtains
Our new Roller curtain is the ultimate in side protection. They feature a robust aluminium roller at the top that is operated using a simple winding handle. Roller curtains have several advantages over the zipped curtains – including wider spans, ease of operation and flexibility.
For each of these styles there are several possibilities for the fabric that is used – including
· Clear PVC (See through)
· Solid PVC (Opaque)
· Openweave PVC (Semi see through mesh fabric)
